Jomo Cosmos beat the transfer deadline on Friday by adding two more players to its squad roster for 2018-2019.
In comes Carlo Gie, a holding midfielder who last played for Maltese side, Ghorghur FC, and goalkeeper Mbulelo Ngcobe from ABC Motsepe League team, Buya Msuthu.
The 23-year-old Carlo is the son of renowned Cape town-based coach, Colin Gie.
Colin Gie owned the defunct FC Fortune, and currently manages Cape United FC.
Meanwhile, Ezenkosi’s selection options received a major boost at the end of the week after Namibian left back, Riaan Hanamub and Nigerian striker, Chibuike Ohizu had their papers sorted.
Cosmos play host to NFD newcomers, TS Sporting at the Vosloorus Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Kick off time is 15h00.
