Jomo Cosmos look set to maintain their immaculate home record when they host Real Kings on Match Day 8 of the NFD on Sunday afternoon.

But Ezenkosi will be without Sicelo Mkhize for the crucial tie after the prolific 21-year-old winger sustained a toe injury during training early in the week. He was placed on medical observation, but was unable to regain full fitness on time and has been effectively ruled out of the fray.

Mkhize, who was signed from Real Kings at the end of last season, has not only been a revelation, but is one of the key figures in the new Cosmos assemblage.

He scored on his debut against University of Pretoria in August, and has made five starts and one substitute appearance (including one assist) so far.

Fans can expect a keen contest at the 15,000-capacity arena as Cosmos aim to beat Real Kings for the first time in three attempts.

Kick-off time at the Vosloorus Stadium is 15h30.
