Jomo Cosmos centre back, Grigorii “Greg” Grishin resumed light training on Tuesday after recuperating from knee surgery.

Greg suffered extensive ligament damage during the 1-0 victory against Richards Bay at Vosloorus Stadium last September, and surgery was carried out on his affected left knee in October.

“Yes it feels good to be back. The physio says I need about eight more weeks to get back in shape, so hopefully I should be 100% fit again before the new season kicks off in August,” stated the former AmaTuks defender.

The 21-year-old made his Ezenkosi debut in the 1-2 defeat by Ajax Cape Town in August 2018.
