The FIFA international break comes up after this weekend’s crucial NFD tie between Jomo Cosmos and Uthongathi FC, and Ezenkosi defender, Riaan Hanamub will be joining 27 other players for Namibia’s training camp ahead of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Zambia on March 23.
Local-based players of the Brave Warriors have already commenced training. The team will be trimmed to 23 players before the trip to Zambia.
Namibia currently lies second behind Guinea-Bissau in Group K, and victory over Zambia should see the Brave Warriors going through to the biennial tournament to be hosted by Egypt in June.
