Haoseb finally gets his chance, as Milano host Cosmos in Cape Town



Denzil Haoseb finally got his Work Permit sorted during the week, and will be available for selection on Saturday when bottom of the log Milano United host Jomo Cosmos in a National First Division (NFD) match in Cape Town.

The Namibian international midfielder, who was signed up alongside compatriot Ananias Gebhardt from Black Africa FC in June, was named in Ezenkosi’s 18-man squad for the trip to Cape Town on Friday night after missing the opening two matches of the season against FC Cape Town and Black Leopards.

Also back to stake a claim in the team is Matsilele Sono Junior, as well as Malawian international, Miciam Mhone.

Young Ivorian-born striker, Amara Kone was a surprise inclusion in a team bubbling with youth and experience.

Midfield sensation, Tebogo “Messi” Tlolane, kept his place in the squad, following his sterling display in last weekend’s 1-1 draw away to Black Leopards.

Meanwhile, Cosmos go into Saturday’s game on the back of last week’s 1-1 deadlock at Black Leopards, while Milano are still licking their wounds after going down 2-0 to Mbombela United.

Kick off at Parow Park, Stadium is 15h00.
