Amid speculations in the past week regarding his future, Jomo Cosmos’ prolific striker, Charlton Mashumba has finally left the team in the middle of his second spell to join Premier League side, Polokwane City FC on a three-year deal.
Mashumba completed his move to the Limpopo-based side on Wednesday in a mammoth deal that sees the Zimbabwean getting a chance to revive his career at top level following his nightmare spell at Highlands Park two seasons ago.
The striker rejoined Ezenkosi at the start of this season after a reported move to top Algerian side USM Alger fell through.
He scored five times in nine official games for Cosmos in the current season to hit a total of 40 goals for Ezenkosi since first donning the club’s jersey in 2014.
Jomo Cosmos wishes Mashumba the best of luck at Polokwane City.
