Sicelo Mkhize has regained full fitness and trained with the rest of the squad during the week as Jomo Cosmos prepare for this weekend’s NFD tie away to Super Eagles FC.
The pacy winger had missed last weekend’s 2-1 victory against Real Kings due to a toe problem, but has been certified fit ahead of the game against the Free State side.
There were no major injury concerns as the team intensified their build up on Thursday afternoon in Springfield.
Sunday’s NFD game is the first official contest between the newly-promoted Eagles and Cosmos, and sparks are expected to fly at Goble Park Stadium, venue of the match.
Cosmos are currently 6th on the log with 11 points in eight matches while Eagles sit on 13th with nine points.
Kick-off time is 15h30.
