Jomo Cosmos will be without influential duo Sicelo Mkhize and Silas Maziya when they host Super Eagles in the penultimate NFD game of the season on Sunday.

Both players are still nursing ankle and knee injuries respectively but are expected to return to top shape ahead of the NFD/PSL play offs should Ezenkosi make it through.

Maziya played his last official game against Stellenbosch FC on February 25, while Mkhize last featured in the 3-1 defeat of Ubuntu Cape Town last month.

Cosmos are currently 2nd on the NFD log with 46 points in 28 matches, and victory over Super Eagles this weekend should guarantee a top three finish and a place in the play-offs for the remaining slot for promotion to the PSL.
