Ezenkosi fans will be excited to see newly-signed Burundian striker, Kevin Ndayisenga donning the team’s colours in Sunday’s opening NFD cracker against FC Cape Town at Olen Park.
Nicknamed “Dambo” by local soccer fans in Burundi, Ndayisenga rejoined Cosmos for Tuesday’s training session, having been away since last month to process his Work Permit at home.
The ex-Bujumbura City FC hit man said he’s delighted to be back, and expressed his desire to help the team achieve its major objective of gaining automatic promotion to the PSL.
“Yes indeed I am quite delighted to be back after securing my Work Permit, and it is my utmost desire to contribute to the team’s quest for automatic promotion.
“From my observation Bra J has assembled a solid team capable of winning the NFD, and together we can achieve this objective,” he stated.
Ndayisenga, who penned a two-year deal with Ezenkosi in June, has been touted as a veritable replacement for former Cosmos goals-machine Charlton Mashumba, who recently signed up for PSL new boys Highlands Park.
