Jomo Cosmos boss, Jomo Sono has bolstered his squad with three new acquisitions as the NFD campaign approaches finish line.
According to Assistant Coach, Brice Aka, the team offered short contracts to Acornbush United midfielder Mduduzi Sibeko, former Cape Umoya left back, Peter Molete and winger Neo Makua from Ajax Cape Town.
Interestingly, Sibeko was released by Cosmos before the start of the current season, but has found his way back to the family. He penned a five-month deal with an option to renew.
Ezenkosi also welcomed 24-year-old defender, Keorapetse Peter Molete, whose wealth of experience could be a plus for the team having plied his trade with Ajax Cape Town, Maritzburg United and Platinum Stars (now known as Cape Umoya United). He signed a year’s contract with an option to renew, after impressing on trials in the past couple of weeks.
Also teaming up with Cosmos on a year’s deal is 25-year-old former Ajax Cape Town star, Neo Makua. The Soweto-born winger is expected to add width and depth to Ezenkosi’s attack which has only registered a paltry 17 goals in 21 league matches this season.
The trio could be making their debuts when Ezenkosi host Royal Eagles in a crucial league game on 10 March.
