AmaZulu’s Nkanyiso Zungu says he’s thrilled to team up with Jomo Cosmos on loan for the rest of the season.

“I am happy to be in Cosmos and looking forward to helping the team achieve its major objective of winning promotion to the Absa Premiership,” he said.

Zungu expressed satisfaction at the level of hospitality he has so far received at Cosmos.

“So far so good, I received a very warm welcome from the lads and I feel at home already,” added the central attacking midfielder who began his professional career at AmaZulu in 2011 before moving to Durban FC in 2014.

The left-footed midfielder, who turns 22 on January 23, 2018, has been brought in ostensibly to strengthen Ezenkosi in the middle of the pack following Linda Mntambo’s departure to Chippa United.

Meanwhile, Tebogo Mabula rejoined the rest of the squad in training this week after recovering from a knee injury.

The midfielder had been sidelined since November.

Mduduzi Sibeko and Bojosi “Josta” Manjoe have also regained fitness ahead of next weekend’s NFD clash away to Real Kings FC.
