Jomo Cosmos owner and Head Coach, Dr. E.M. ‘Jomo’ Sono, has confirmed that three players – Sibusiso “Master” Mdamba, Mtokozisi “Boika” Msomi and Thabang “50” Mokoena will be joining NFD basement team, Magesi FC for the rest of the season.
This comes well ahead of the second half of 2016-2017, which kicks off next month after the Afcon break.
Mdamba, who plays in central midfield, was in Ezenkosi’s starting line up for their opening NFD game at home to FC Cape Town last September, while Msomi made cameo appearances against Real Kings and Magesi back in November and December respectively.
Mokoena joins the duo for the trip to Limpopo after being sidelined for virtually the whole part of the first stanza, and the former African All-Stars can finally lace his boots for game time.
Meanwhile, pacy Highlands Park midfielder, Simphiwe Tshabalala could be landing a loan move to Ezenkosi after impressing Dr. Sono in the last couple of weeks.
Also training with Jomo Cosmos is centre back Sabelu Madi, from FC Cape Town.
The mid-season transfer window closes on January 31.
