Messi back in action as Cosmos face AmaTuks in Pretoria

All eyes will be on Jomo Cosmos star, Tebogo ‘Messi’ Tlolane on Saturday when the team visits University of Pretoria FC in search of their first league win in 2018.

Ezenkosi crushed AmaTuks 5-0 when both sides clashed in the first round last September in Vosloorus.

This time however, revenge could be on the cards as the students look to take advantage of a rather depleted Cosmos side following the recent departures of Linda Mntambo, Mxolisi Macuphu and Frederic Nsabiyumva to Chippa United FC.

Like Cosmos, AmaTuks have also suffered a slump in form since the beginning of the year, and it’d be interesting to see who blinks first between the sides.

Cosmos are currently third on the NFD log with 30 points from 19 games, while AmaTuks occupy 6th position with 26 points from the same number of matches.

Meanwhile, Ezenkosi received a big boost during the week following the return from injury of midfield sensation, Tebogo “Messi” Tlolane and star forward, Sicelo Mkhize.

Barring any late fitness issues, both players should be available for selection against the Students.

Kick off time at the Tuks Stadium is 15h30.

The host team has declared free entry for spectators willing to attend the game.
