Jomo Cosmos midfielder Thato Sithole has resumed training, albeit partially, with the rest of the team following weeks of inactivity due to a shoulder injury.
He had missed the season’s opening NFD game against FC Cape Town due to this problem, but has now returned after being diagnosed and treated.
Sithole, who was called up to the Bafana Bafana squad for last season’s COSAFA Cup, said he hopes to recover fully by next week.
“I am still going back to the doctor though, as treatment is still on-going. For now I can only do some light training, but by next week I hope to have fully recovered,” he said.
